WCOOP Event #16: Team Online Anders "Donald" Berg wins third WCOOP Bracelet
by Pokerplayer on Sep.10, 2011, under Gambling News
Join PokerStars now! 712 players lined up at the 10:00am CST starting gun for WCOOP Event #16 $215 buy-in PLO (6-max). And at 10:01am mtvdeuem of Slovenia decided ship the entire 5,000 chip starting stack to papillon of Malta exiting the tournament before most had even taken their seats. Quite the contrast from Event #15′s Razz tournament that just finished a mere eight hours ago when Fred_Brink outlasted a field of 799, including Team PokerStars pro George Danzer who finished 16th, the Razz contestants may have received a little more play for their buck than mtvdeuem did.

VIP Mega Month doubles prize pools for FPP freerolls
by Pokerplayer on Aug.22, 2011, under Gambling News

It’s ridiculously little…like, if it were converted to loose change, you might not bother digging it out of your sofa cushions. If you left it as a tip at a restaurant, the server would probably follow you out of the store with a chef’s knife in his hand
